There is now a UK and Ireland Yahoo.co.uk website which is intended as a 'closer to home' central location for those affected by Amyloidosis. This site is not intended as a support group, but if it progresses that way, all well and good.

Currently the purpose is for those within the UK and Ireland to get together in order to find a way forward to some form of unity using a easily accessible support system where they can Vent and have their say, whilst sharing any helpful information they wish to pass on in making life a better place for anyone affected by this terrible disease.

The site is not intended to have any power base, and everyone has the same rights to suggest how they would like to see the site progress.

There is no intention of splitting away from any other site as ALL information available is welcomed and needed.

Indeed we must thank those who have held out open arms in the support in dealing with this terrible disease, for without their help and support we would still be fighting this alone. and continue to support those groups that lead the way for us.

Remember, you do NOT have to go it alone! We are stronger together than we are alone
